Any good downloaders for Hulu+?

Quick question. Is it possible to download videos from Hulu Plus using free software currently at all? I used to use a script for it, but as we all know, that stopped working a couple months ago.

If the answer is no, then what about with pay software? It's a shame, there's a few HD videos I'd really like to get. Things get removed from Hulu all the time and I've missed out on a lot of good stuff before, I'd hate for it to happen again.

It seems like there's no more free software that can download anything from Hulu, let alone Hulu Plus. I've been keeping an eye on ATRES, ChrisPC, AVGO, and StreamTransport for updated software, but so far there's been nothing yet.

Supposedly GetFLV still works. And indeed, when I last tried the free version (v. 9.6.3.9), it did download the first 30 MB (or however much the free version is limited to - I forget). I can't speak to the pay version, but at least one person has noted that the entire video doesn't get downloaded.

Hopefully there are other pay GetFLV users who can comment on their experiences....

I can confirm that Getflv (paid full version) works on Hulu Plus, but only the HD 1500BR 720p stream and the finished video files always stutters and sometimes freeze at the beginning of playing, but only for a millisecond. I will stick with Atresdownloader and FreeRapid Downloader when they finally break the code to download from Hulu Plus again.

Nice, glad to hear that there's a working option out there, even if it costs money. And thanks for the note about FreeRapid Downloader. I hadn't heard about that one before.

Yeah, I found FreeRapid Downloader by mistake during a search before Hulu went and changed up everything on us. I actually downloaded several movies and TV shows. You have to put your credentials in like Atresdownloader by going to the Hulu plug-in settings. Choose highest quality and it will download the HD 720 3000BR Stream by default. You can also download subtitles as there is a check option for that. I never did so I cannot confirm it works.

That's right. As far as I know, no free software can currently download Hulu videos.

ok. there was a small bug in your code, causing an HTTP error for the SWF... but even now, it goes further. still nothing. It connects, finds the stream, starts downloading, but it doesn't download anything and still fails.
