Vivid.com only lets you stream their movies, it doesn't let you download whatsoever.

Because of this i've went and downloaded like 3 different stream recording software programs (HiDownload, WM Recorder, NetTransport) but none of them connect to the Vivid streaming

I'm having so much troblem trying to figure it out

If anyone has any advise please do share

Please try RTMP flash stream recorders first and let me know whether they work or not.

Just downloaded that program... I went and hit record, started the stream and nothing shows up

vivid.com offers streaming videos for Windows Media Player, QuickTime player, Real Player and Flash Player!!!

I have tried to record Windows Media and Real video streams. Both Real Media .rm and Windows Media .wmv videos were broadcasted through the RTSP protocol. The only problem is that stream URLs expire very quickly so you have to find new ones. You can use URL Snooper for that.

I would use WM Recorder in the PRO mode. It might be pretty slow, but this allows to capture packets from Windows Media Player and Real Player of your local computer. Because you do not create separate threads for recording videos, you look like a normal user who watches streaming videos.

Also when recording try to act naturally. You won't watch several videos at the same time, you won't watch them 24 hours a day, so don't do it with vivid videos.

When WM Recorder was working I kept getting "your evaluation time has expired please restart WM recorder" in the middle of downloads... Then it says CANCELLED in the status box but it is still DL the stream..

Of course you need to buy WM Recorder to avoid this.
