Why not use an anonymous proxy?

UltraReach UltraSurf is a freeware program that simplifies the process of accessing web-sites via proxy servers. It allows you to view websites through a US proxy server using Internet Explorer browser.

UltraSurf finds the fastest proxy server automatically. And unlike many proxy servers, it allows you to access web-sites that require to login, use flash, javascript. You can watch videos from youtube with it, download and upload files.

Although the program is free, you won't see any annoying ads or pop-up windows.

There are a few problems with the program:
  • Hulu detects an proxy server when you try to watch content from it with Ultrasurf
  • Proxy servers are locates in the U.S. only and can't be chosen manually

  • Click the "Configuration" tab on the right then proceed to check the "Always on" button.
  • Close the Modify Headers box and it should work.
If this doesn't work for you, block TCP and UDP traffic coming through port 1935.

In Linux run the following in the Terminal:
Code:
iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 1935 -j DROP
iptables -A INPUT -p udp --dport 1935 -j DROP
In Mac OS run the following in the Terminal:
Code:
sudo ipfw add 0 deny tcp from any to any 1935
sudo ipfw add 0 deny udp from any to any 1935

In Windows XP, 2003 run the following in the command prompt:
Code:
IPSeccmd.exe -w REG -p "Block UDP 1935 Filter" -r "Block Inbound UDP 1935 Rule" -f *=0:1935:UDP -n BLOCK -x
IPSeccmd.exe -w REG -p "Block TCP 1935 Filter" -r "Block Inbound TCP 1935 Rule" -f *=0:1935:TCP -n BLOCK -x
To verify the successful assignment of your filtering rule, set the working folder to C:\Program Files\Support Tools at the command prompt, and then type the following command:
Code:
netdiag /test:ipsec /debug

There are very nice and easy to handle vpn-services like StrongVPN, HappyVPN, HotSpotVPN. Just buy, install and use and nothing else. I was also looking for a possibility to watch hulu. But im no a computer-freak. And all this with proxy and i dont know what all makes me crazy. So a friend recommend me this one. I'm happy with it!

I totally agree.
There are the following restrictions using a VPN service
1. You are dependent on their server speed. So, your 50 mbps connection is of no use if the servers provide only 2 mbps

2. No VPN is cheap ! The decent ones amounts to about $15 per month

3. No matter what they say, VPNs never gives unlimited traffic. The best you can get is 5gb.

The best bet is to use some kind of DNS services. Luckily they are cheap and fast since it only a DNS re-route and don't have any implications on the speed. The best one available out there is www.unotelly.com
The best thing thing about them is that they offer some channels free and offers all other channels for $4.95. You can try their services.

I have problem also before about streaming outside the use but someone give this link https://blockless.com/ to stream outside and around the world. It is really beautiful and they have a good services that they offer with the consumers.

I was facing the same problem on audio & video streaming. I have checked it out, it will help me out.

But as i have researched on other sources also, it might be best & affordable to use DNS services. What do you guys say?
