You can also use
WM Recorder, freeware
WebVideoCap or freeware
GetASFStream to download/capture Windows Media streams. The above mentioned programs can download/capture multiple streams simultaneously. And you can use your sound card while they download or capture audio and video streams.
The only problem is that if you need MP3 files, then you will need to convert Windows Media .ASF, .WMA files into MP3 format.
Also note that if you record music, you may want to try
Replay Music. The program allows you to split and tag songs automatically.
