wmv video not playing sound

Hey. xD I'm having a little problem here...I've got this wmv video..well..it only plays the video but no sound.. I mean..there's a song playing but then there are people talking but I can't hear them...i've converted this wmv to avi and mpeg..but it doesn't work. could anyone help me please?

What player do you use to play your WMV files? Have you tried any alternative players like freeware VLC or SMPlayer?
