Video/audio from PC to PC: Broadcasting PC gameplay to Justin.TV using another PCHi, i was wondering if its possible to send video/audio from one computer to the other, i have no idea how to achieve this.
What i want to do is for pc2 to recieve video/audio from pc1 so i can use pc2 to stream everything that happens on pc1. For example as if you connect your console to your pc to record/stream it but with 2 pc's instead, not that i have any experience of this either. Why do i want to do this you ask? well i want to lighten the load on pc1 by making pc2 have flash media encoder to encode and stream its desktop. Do i need a capture card on pc2 thats connected to pc1's video out? and if yes, is there any guide or something similar? Thanks. |

Re: Video/audio from PC to PC: Broadcasting PC gameplay to Justin.TV using another PCI'm not sure what exactly you're trying to achieve.
If you want to send audio/video files from one computer to another, you can use file sharing services or services like Dropbox, MS Skydrive. If you want access your computer remotely, you can use remote access software. |

Re: Video/audio from PC to PC: Broadcasting PC gameplay to Justin.TV using another PCI want to connect my 2 pc's with a s-video cable + some audio cable so 1 of them recieves the video/audio from the other.
In short i guess its like connecting your xbox to your pc for recording. but in this case the xbox is another pc. I dont know what i should use when it comes to the cables or programs (and maybe some kind of receiver card) making it hard to explain, sorry Maybe its possible to connect them via the graphic cards using a dvi cable and usinga some program to detect? just throwing that out there incase anyone know anything about this. |

Re: Video/audio from PC to PC: Broadcasting PC gameplay to Justin.TV using another PCAlso, What i have now is that im using 'Flash Media Encoder and VHscrcap to stream everything that happens on my screen to Justin.tv or livestream.com etc..
but 'Flash Media Encoder' uses alot of your cpu power and thats what i want to change by streaming my desktop on my gaming pc to my second computer via cables and on the second computer use 'Flash Media Encoder' to stream it live to the web. |

Re: Video/audio from PC to PC: Broadcasting PC gameplay to Justin.TV using another PCDo you want to broadcast HD videos or SD videos?
Many HD capture cards can be used for broadcasting videos to services like Justin.TV including Hauppage HD PVR, Blackmagic Intensity Pro, AverTV HD DVR. HD capture cards support HDMI and/or component video. Do you have HDMI out, DVI out, S-Video out or VGA only? |

Re: Video/audio from PC to PC: Broadcasting PC gameplay to Justin.TV using another PCi have a radeon 4870 with 2 dvi's like this one http://zedomax.com/blog/wp-content/u...008/09/dvi.jpg
so i could get AverTV HD DVR and run a dvi cable from my radeon4870 to the averTV card on my other computer? if so, do you know if any program comes with it or do you have any suggestions? and do you know how the program would work, will it be like a window that shows the video/audio received? |

Re: Video/audio from PC to PC: Broadcasting PC gameplay to Justin.TV using another PCThere are plenty of DVI-D to HDMI cables. The only problem is that DVI-D can't transfer sound, while HDMI can. Not sure whether this can cause problems when broadcasting or not.
As for broadcasting to Justin TV with AverTV HD DVR, it comes with AVer MediaCenter. It allows to to simultaneously enjoy HDMI or Component video in one window and in the other window watch video from composite video or S-video sources. |

Re: Video/audio from PC to PC: Broadcasting PC gameplay to Justin.TV using another PCSorry about the picture, it wasn't taken by me, i googled it as it looks like that on my radeon card only without the dvi-d text.
I looked up radeon 4870 on ati/amd's site and it says that it support audio over hdmi. "Integrated HD audio controller with support for stereo and multi-channel (up to 7.1) audio formats, including AC-3, AAC, DTS & Dolby True-HD4, enabling a plug-and-play audio solution over HDMI" So i just have to get the correct cable from somewhere and the reciever card ofc and im set to go, i hope. Thanks for all the help and fast responses. merry xmas |
