Streambox records with poor qualityHi Everybody,
I am using streambox VCR to record some streaming realone video lectures (.rm). I have at home DSL coneection and when I playback they have poor quality while at my friends house with better internet connection, I see them with much better quality. I am using Streambox from home ( with DSL connection) and it shows the video rm files are around 130 MB but when it downloads the files are about 40 MB and have very poor quality. I am wondering if the quality of the downloaded .rm files depends on the bandwidth or connection of the downloading computer! Any help would be greatly appreciated. cs |

Re: Streambox records with poor qualityYou can choose bitrate of some streams. If your stream is offered with a choice of bitrates, change the settings of StreamboxVCR. You can choose connection that is better than your current one, then you may get higher quality videos.
