Stream video from camera to FMS Flash Media server(live streaming video from wedding)

I was also looking for a wireless camera to embed in a web site. THe problem is that you need to have the bandwidth to distribute the video to many viewers for live events. I want to find a wifi camera that can transmit a flash video stream to an internet FMS Flash Media server. That way all I need is a cordless camera on a tripod with a power cable. That's it.

I am trying to plan a wedding and to stream video live. I'm going to use http://www.mogulus.com with a small laptop and a web cam. I wish I could just use regular IP cameras but they cannot encode the signal and transmit to a video server. When you add up the cost, you can just by or rent a laptop for an event and use mogulus for free.

if anyone has any other alternatives that simplify the cost and process let me know.

You can try to send video from you camera to a streaming server using VLC player.

I have written scripts for OSX which allow IP Camera to FMS, Wowza, Red5 or any other Flash Media compatible server : by presenting the IP Camera to Flash as a standard Webcam.

Works with Skype, MSN or any other webcam apps also.

Please read the full article i have posted here;

hi,

To stream a live wedding, I think DaCast, a self-service live streaming platfrom might be a good option for you. The company offers pay-as-you-go pricing which only cost you the bandwidth you consume. It takes you less than 20 minutes to sign up an account then create a channel. With one laptop and webcam, you are ready to stream a wedding. At the same time, you can also enjoy high quality video streaming.
