How to broadcast gameplays with webcam using Blackmagic Intensity Pro

You will need:
  1. Blackmagic Intensity Pro,
  2. xbox 360,
  3. HDMI cable,
  4. HDMI audio adapter for xbox, 2xRCA to mini-jack audio cable,
  5. PC with Windows,
  6. Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder,
  7. VH Multi Camera Studio

How to broadcast xbox360 gameplays with webcam using Blackmagic Intensity Pro
  1. Since xbox 360 uses HDMI without HDCP encryption, you can capture from HDMI.
  2. Set up xbox 360 to output 720p video for recording HD videos with it. Note that Blackmagic Intensity Pro doesn't support 1080p. Also note that interlaced videos with fast actions can bring unpleasant artifacts, so we will be using progressive video instead.
  3. Install the latest drivers for your Intensity Pro capture card.
  4. Open Control Panel and select the Intensity item.
  5. In the "Set Output" combo-box select "HDMI & Y, R-Y, B-Y".
  6. In the "Set Input" combo-box select "HDMI Video & HDMI audio".
  7. In the "Select Input Processing" combo-box choose "Off".
  8. In the "Select Output Processing" combo-box choose "Off".
  9. Hit the "Apply" button and the "Ok" button.
  10. Launch VH Multi Camera Studio.
  11. In VH Multi Camera Studio click "View", then change the video resolution to 1280x720 and the frame rate to 29.97.
  12. Select "File" -> "Add camera" and choose "Decklink Video Capture". Stretch it to fit your screen. and then stretch it to fit the screen
  13. Select "File" -> "Add camera" and add your webcam.
    You can also add images,....
  14. Launch "Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder" and use Custom profile.
  15. Change the "Video device" to "VHMultiCam", the "Format" to "h.264", the "Frame rate" to 29.97 fps, "Input size" to 1280x720.
  16. You can also change the output bitrate and size. Recommended settings for Justin TV: 640x360, 1000kbps
  17. Select the Input source for your audio in the Flash Media Live Encoder 3.0 doesn't support HDMI audio. You will need an analog audio adapter for xbox 360 (you may already have one if you own xbox 360 elite). You will also need a 2xRCA to mini-jack audio cable. Connect it to the input of your sound card and select the Line-In or Mic In as your Audio Device in Flash Media Live Encoder.
  18. To stream to justin.tv, check the "Stream to Flash Media Server" and enter the "FMS URL" and "Stream".
  19. Hit the "Start" button.
  20. Go to Justin.TV and see your broadcast.
