How to re-broadcast your TVUPlayer stream with freeware VLC Player

To re-broadcast your TVU Player stream with VLC:
  1. Start the TVU Player stream and let it buffer.
  2. Start VLC, go to "Media" -> "Open Network...". Select "HTTP" option, and type in 127.0.0.1:8901 in the "Address" edit box.
  3. Hit the button at the left of the Play button and select Stream (Alternatively you can press "ALT+S").
  4. In the "Stream Output" dialog check the "MMSH" and enter "127.0.0.1" into the "Address" editbox. Enter "1234" into the "Port" editbox.
  5. Hit the "Stream" button.
  6. Leave TVU Player running (closing TVU Player closes the stream).
  7. You may need to mute the sound in TVU Player so it doesn't affect the sound in VLC.
