FairUse4WM error: Cannot locate encrypted code chunks

Quote:
Hello, I’m having loads of trouble with Mirakagi and FairUse4WM. I’ve been trying to unDRM demo files from ezdrm.com and receive this error when running Mirakagi:

Mirakagi starts, code version 0.9
Found 0 keys in keyring.
—————–
Processing “C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\DRM\cache\Indiv01.key”
Version: 11.0.6000.6324 …
XML - Cert: 84 bytes, Key Storage: 1392 bytes.
DLL 1000/101acc @ ac01000 && 103000/2d494 @ ad03000
Cannot locate encrypted code chunks.
It is finished.

I have read through this forum along with many others but I don’t see any example that relates to my situation. I really would like some help!
Thank you for your time,
Windows XP
WMP version 11.0.5705.5043
and one more similar request

Reinvidualized my system got IBX 6324 down. No matter where i tried still 11.0.6000.6324. Now i wouldn't mind this but drmdbg doesn't work, FairUse4WM doesn't work and i am effectively screwed.

now whats the deal? are MS playing games or just a temp blip?

I have the same error. Out of curiosity, are you using Rhapsody as your online service? I've searched around and I think that's the key link for those with this problem.

I am also having the same error message when trying to use Mirakagi. I am trying to use it on DRM-encrypted WMV files that I have a license for. Not using Rhapsody at all.

Any ideas out there?

Have searched extensively on various fora but no answers

Re: mirakagi - error - Cannot locate encrypted code chunks (IBX 11.0.6000.6324)

Hi to all

Same problem here, but i am able to remove drm from WMV files to watch them on my TV, with the help of VMWare, my Win XP SP2 CD, and FairUse4WM-Fix-2.
All others utils are not functionning : Mirakagi, drmdbg, because WMP9 from XPSP2 perhaps.

WMP 9 shouldn't be upgraded to have IBX 11.0.6000.6324 on individualization!
  1. Install VMWare server,
  2. Create new Virtual machine, network from NAT through Host,
  3. Install XPSP2,
  4. Disable all upgrades,
  5. Share a directory from Virtual XP,
  6. Put WMV file on it, with FairUse4WM-fix-2,
  7. Watch 10 sec of a licensed WMV file (WMP 9 will individualize, and acquires the license),
  8. Close WMP9,
  9. Launch FairUse4WM-fix-2,
  10. Recover keys, follow the instructions (just watch a Licensed WMV file-you must have the license)
  11. You're ready to remove DRM from your legally owned WMV files.
Something i don't understand : my WMV files provider says that i *must* use WMP11 to watch, but WMP9 handles it without any problem...

I have to find something to convert WMV to AVI now, my DVD player doesn't read WMV...argh.

I know you know this method, nothing new here, just wanted to say that this is always functionning.

(sorry for my english :/)
