Trying to Stream from RCA InputsHi All,

In major need of someones expertise. My area of IT is software orientated so I am a little out of my depth here. I am getting output from a video switcher in the form of an RCA cable. This cable contains both Audio and Video. This cable will be feeding live footage to be streamed. I will be streaming this footage through a laptop using software that I have. Originally I bought an RCA to HDMI converter as I had thought that because it was originally coming from an RCA cable that a video capture device was not neccessary, I now see that is wrong. So my question is this. How do I get this out from from RCA into my computer so that I may directly stream what is coming through the feed. Would a simple RCA to USB converter work? Or do I need something else? If so what? NEEDING MAJOR HELP Thanking all |

Re: Trying to Stream from RCA InputsSo I think this is a composite cable yellow, red and white? Since you are using a laptop, you need to have a device that accepts rca and would connect to usb like yes a usb video capture device. So the video/audio goes through the rca cables to usb in your laptop and you can either view or stream it like with windows media encoder.
