musicMe (MME, for short) is a French online music website offering a subscription service and paid MP3 track downloads similar to DZR (deezer.fr, deezer.com), but more similar to NAPS (napster.com, napster.ca, napster.co.uk, napster.de). The subscription option with « téléchargement illimité sur PC » costs EUR9.90 and is 100% based on WMP10 and its DRM environment (you know what that means ). A software client to support these Unlimited 192kbps WMA-subscription downloads is also available.



This subscription option is not advertised on the front page (home entry page), similar to equivalent subscription options with Napster (Napster To Go) and Rhapsody (Rhapsody Premier Plus) who try to conceal that such a subscription option exists lol.

these days i have no time to sign up for a 1 month subscription and check out their streams (DRM, WMA, AAC, MP3, RTMP, FLASH, LOSSLESS, ..) but according to the wikipedia entry it seems that the Unlimited Download subscription streams are some boring 192kbps *.WMA files protected with DRM 10.

MME's catalogue is rather small (~6.6 million songs) and should contain lots of French musique stuff
