MS security updates for WMP 10 and Windows Media Format Runtime 9.5 and 11

After having successfully applied the fix re: WMP 10 and FairUse4WM-Fix 1, I now get Windows update alerts regarding security updates for WMP 10 and the Windows Media Format Runtime 9.5 and 11. Should I install these updates or will they mess up the fix? I know that it was mentioned that we should not update WMP 10, does that include these aforementioned alerts?
