IPTV Recording

Hi,

Not sure if this is the correct forum to ask for this advice.

I want to basically record an IPTV stream just to time shift. I work until 7pm at weekends and all I want to do is timeshift live EPL football games from their normal 3pm start time so that I can watch them during the evening. I haven't yet decided on a streaming provider or bought a MAG box (Or any other box) until I know if this is possible. Some of the streaming companies give catchup streams but none seem to do that for NBC or BeIn Sport channels.
Can anyone help me to do this and also what I need hardware wise. Ideally I was wanting to just swop a lead from say a Mag box from TV and connect to whatever would record the stream them watch on TV later.

Waiting with baited breath!!

Dave
