Automatic capture from youtube live streams

I follow a couple of different youtube channels that sometimes livestream content, and recently I've started using livestreamer.io to capture streams, and this has been working very well.

But unfortunately I live in a very different timezone so most of the streams i want to watch are at night when I'm sleeping.
So I'm looking for some way to automate the whole process, i do have a server i could use for the purpose but I haven't had any luck finding something that will monitor a channel(s) and alert if a livestream is started.

Does anyone have any ideas or solutions?
