I have a few questions.
1. I usually use
rtmpexplorer to download videos from MTV, but I tried
RTMPExploreX this time since it's suppose to better. I was trying to download
Guy Code S03E11. When I put the video url it usually doesn't work, it wont download anything to the folder, I don't know what I'm doing wrong, here is a screenshot:
It doesn't download the episode to the folder? But sometimes I can get it to work but it only downloads the first piece (
m2_gc_rt295589_s1_768x432_1700_m30.flv) of the episode. There are 4 parts (s1, s2, s3 & s4) to each episode that usually get downloaded then you just use
mkvmerge to merge them together. Why does it only download the first part?
When I use
rtmpexplorer I seem to be able to download all four parts at once, screenshot below:
What are the most update versions of both software? And is there a list of sites that are know to work with these programs? How do I know if a video is a rtmp stream?
2. I was a member of Hulu Plus and use to download videos using
get-flash-videos. It was a pain in the *** but I figured it out. My most important question is about Netflix and I'll be forever grateful if someone can give directions on how to do this. How are people download Netflix videos? On a forum I've seen users using software to capture HD video/shows from Netflix, webstream rips. I don't know if there using a special software or have hardware? But if someone can help me with this that would awesome! These users are capturing the videos and uploading them as VOD(video on demand). Here is screenshot of one of webstream rips from Netflix, shows how good the quality is. I know Netflix users Silverlight protection but people are somehow getting around this or using a different method than downloading?
Thanks for any info you can give me or point me towards the right direction
