Question

Can't record from CBS.com: Recording The Survivor TV episode: RTMP flash video stream

I am trying to record the survivor episode on the CBS site with no success. I am following the procedures listed below from stream recorders stickey. When I click on the record button the first commercial is recoreded but the survivor episode does not record. I am using WM Recorder version 11 in ADA mode with auto start set.

Here is the link to the episode I am trying to record.

http://www.cbs.com/primetime/survivor15/video.php

Any help is appeciated since this is my first try at this...

---------------------------------------------------------------

WM Recorder is the only stream recorder that can record Flash .FLV streaming video broadcasted through HTTP protocol automatically.

Here's how to record .FLV HTTP stream in real time with AUTO recording mode enabled (AUTO ON):
1. Download and install WM Recorder.
2. Open WM Recorder.
3. Click the MODE button. The Recording Modes dialog appears.
4. Choose the ADA Mode. WM Recorder will automatically choose the best Adapter for you. It is always the default adapter that Windows uses.
5. Select Auto recording so that you no longer need to click the Record button to start a recording. Every supported audio or video stream you play is automatically recorded in this mode.
6. Using your browser or your media player, play the .FLV video you want to record.
7. Recording starts automatically. The RECORD button turns to STOP. Once the recording begins you can start playing and recording another video / audio clip. There is no need to wait until the play is finished.
8. To end one or more recordings click STOP and select the desired action from the pop-up menu.

Note that WM Recorder also supports other recording modes. The above mentioned od is the easiest one because it doesn't even require you to hit the RECORD button. Please refer to the user guide for more.
