I have a DRM'd WMV that I got for FREE LEGALLY as part of a promotion. The thing is, I was supposed to get a download....not a rental download for joining this site! Their customer support is non-existent and I am seriously considering dropping my membership. Anyway, I have the latest
FU4WM and mirakagi, WMP10, and Windows XP Media Center 2004.
First I start up my file and get the license, then put it on pause.
I start mirakagi and click start to get the keys and this is what I get:
Mirakagi starts, code version 0.9
Found 64 keys in keyring.
It is finished.. That's it.
Then I run FU4WM. It says it has 64 keys loaded and then I click recover keys. My DRMclien.dll is version 10.0.0.3802 and my Indivbox.key is version 10.0.0.3930. Once I select my file it gives me the following
error: "No license available for specified file".
How is that possible? I can play the file just fine as many times I want for an unknown period of time (they just told me it was rental after I downloaded). Also I saw in many posts where you copied the keys or something from mirakagi to some kind of text file created by FU4WM, but I never saw any text file. I have both mirakagi and FU4WM running in a folder on my desktop. Thanks for any help!
p.s.
Hey all, before you say it, I have searched through the topics and read at least 17 pages of this crazy topic before I post my question.
sorry this is a copy of a post I cannot make at the doom9 forum since they need 5 days before I can post
