Android 3.1 tablet: How to save streaming videos on my tablet for viewing

Hi, i recently got myself a acer a500 tablet, so far it rocks!
I live in south africa and as such the internet pretty much fails.
I would like to save streaming video's on my tablet for viewing in the event the internet fails. Are there any apps able to do this yet?
