Removal of DRM on Mac issue: .azw is neither a Mobipocket nor a TOPAZ file

Hi I've tried to google (and search for the answer) on my issue but no luck.

I am attempting to remove the DRM from some kindle books I am using. I have a Mac 10.5 OS X. I downloaded the DeDRM software and ran the applet. Everytime I choose a book, I get the following error:

Macintosh HD:Users:USERNAME:Library:Application Support:Kindle:My Kindle Content:B0034_EBOK.azw is neither a Mobipocket nor a TOPAZ file.

I've tried it with all of the books in the library (even the free ones like Treasure Island and Pride & Prejudice).

I'm stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
