Fraps makes mouse jump in game?

When i'm playing mw2 on my laptop it works perfectly, no lag anything, and when i have fraps open but not recording its fine. it used to be that fraps just made the game slightly laggier but still ok but now it makes my aim jump around the screen. for example, i move my mouse slightly to the left and it spins me 180 degrees, i move it more and it just moves normally but then spins again. this happened before on my mouse( a great gaming one ) and i tried it on my normal mouse. it was ok at first but then it started happening again. i have just bought a new gaming mouse for ?30 and it worked fine while recording for several days, but recently the problem has started again, making the game unplayable while recording. any ideas? thanks
