Henriksen has studied and learned the craft from the very best; Guy Clark, John Prine, Warren Zevon and the two giants of rock music, Dylan and Springsteen.

Paul Henriksen once played in the Norwegian band The Passengers. He then moved on to the folk/ country-band Flying Shoes, named after the classic Townes van Zandt album, from 1978.
