Remove DRM from WMV videos.

Hi,

I need help to permanently remove DRM protection from ALOT of WMV videos. I have read some about it on the forums but I need help to choose a software that removes the DRM in the fastest and easiest way.

Which software should I try? and if I remove the DRM will it "come back" later on after some period of time?

I have tried the free versions (freeme2 etc.), but I couldnt get any results from those softwares. After copy paste the key it would say the file was to big or something like that and I had other errors too and I tried alot of things to fix it but nothing happend!

I must say there is a big amount of videos that I want to remove the DRM from and those "capture" softwares would take forever if I would use it on all of those videos.

I have a valid license/key so is there some easier and faster way just to rip the DRM protection from those video files so it doesnt ask for the license anymore ?

freeme2 and FairUse4WM work fast, but unfortunately they don't work in many updated operating systems. You may wanna read more about them referring to the particular error you experience with them.

Most DRM removers are useless since the point is to remove the drm key and you have to have the drm license on your PC to remove it from the drm file.
Isn't there any program available I can use to remove the drm even if I don't have the license key.?

AFAIK you can't play DRM-protected Windows Media files in Mac OS, so you don't really need any DRM removal software for Mac OS.

p.s. You can install Windows on a Mac. It could be a standalone copy of Windows or you can install it onto a virtual machine like freeware VirtualBox.
