Editing CSPAN videos?

I download CSPAN videos currently with RTMPDump. The resulting downloaded vids are flvs which i cannot edit directly in Premiere CS6. So 2 option are convert to mp4 in Free MP Converter and then edit or rewrap it using a bat file. Either the resulting file is all jacked up. If it do the bat route when i pulled the file into Premiere the video looks like its on fast forward. If convert with Free MP the a and v are out of synce in premiere. Any way that actually works for editing CSPAN FLVs ideally in Premiere?
