Audible Enhanced - .AAX - DRM Removal and Conversion

I'm trying to remove copy protection from, and convert, audible enhanced files.

Audible's new "Enhanced" format uses .aax files, which as far as I can tell are a variant of .AAC files.

On a mac (which I'm using) they play natively in iTunes - after requiring you to log in to your audible account within iTunes. Requiem doesn't seem to recognize them as DRM protected content, and I can't find any other applications that will even recognize them, much less remove the DRM.

Is there a way to remove DRM, and convert them to unprotected .AAC files? Preferably losslessly.
