hi all , im seriously getting nuts with this live stream (on a linux box)

rtmpe://alex-stream.rosebud-media.de/lblive/alexlivestream_2.mp4

player location:

i used the oldschool method getting hash

and issued this command and a couple of variations but im not getting further

You are missing two things. first is rtmp redirection. either use the redirected url (use -V | --verbose switch) or compile rtmpdump with my patches and it will be handled automatically. secondly it uses SecureToken. decompile the player swf to get SecureToken.

@chap you mentioned the ffmpeg method with the m3u8 playlist, but im not getting further , would help me a lot

thanks chap, seems my ffmpeg is outdated and doesnt support hls demux
