Kindle

I have d/l a number of free ebooks from Amazon onto my desktop Windows PC using the Kindle apps, and transferred same to my Galaxy tab.... When I use Explorer to view the contents of my Kindle app some titles I can read (books I have loaded separately) but the Amazon ones have an alpha/numeric title with odd extensions - not .mobi or .epub. As I would like to be able to save these books in an offline location, is there a way to achieve this please? TIA -
