How to read DRM-protected Sony Store ebooks on Apple iPad, Nook, Kobo eBook Reader

Sony Store sells DRM-protected ePub ebooks. To use the on your iPad, Nook, Kobo eBook Reader you need to remove DRM protection first.
  1. Install Adobe Digital Editions
  2. Install freeware Calibre
  3. Download and install DRM removal plug-ins for Calibre:
    ebook DRM removal tools archive
  4. Purchase your ePub ebook and open it with Adobe Digital Editions.
  5. Find the folder with your DRM-protected ePub ebook (My documents/My books/Reader Library)
  6. Run Calibre
  7. Drag-n-Drop your DRM-protected ePub ebook onto Calibre
  8. Calibre will remove DRM protection from the ePub ebook
  9. Convert your DRM-free ePub ebook to any other format using Calibre if needed.
