Recording BBC Radio 1: How can I record radio streams without the interference?Hi although I am new to audio streaming I am computer literate. That said I am having a problem which is driving me mad. Therefore, looking for advice off of the experts.
I have been trying to download RADIO 1 (uk) stream using Replay Music and other applications. I haven't managed to find one application that can give me clear audio without interference such as skipping. I have tried using several programmes on 2 seperate pcs therefore, I am certain its not my pc. Can anyone suggest a fool proof way of recording simple audio stream without interference? Is it possible? Edit: Ok it looks like its VLC player as I have just tried listening to the audio on WMP and its fine, any ideas as to why VLC player would cause skipping? every 7 seconds or so? |

Re: Recording BBC Radio 1: How can I record radio streams without the interference? You may try to increase buffer size to avoid audio skipping.
VLC has its own support forum and you should be able to solve your problem there. Make sure you use the latest stable version of VLC first. There are lots of other programs that can be used to rip audio streams from BBC Radio One: www.bbc.co.uk: How to record BBC Radio 1 stream from BBC iPlayer (RTMP .flv, RTSP .ra, MMS .wma) |
