I am new to this forum so sorry if I am posting in the wrong section.

Problem:

Every time I try to login to Skype a message comes up saying:

"Skype has stopped working, Windows is looking for a solution. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is avaliable"

I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it is not working. I've also reset my computer and that too isn't working.

Conflicts are pretty common for Windows programs. Re-installing the program and rebooting was a good idea. Since it didn't help, I can suggest the following
1. install a newer/older version of Skype
2. contact Skype support
3. re-install Windows
4. use Skype alternatives like Google Talk
