How to download HTTP/RTMP brightcove video streams on a MacI found a new way to download Brightcove videos. I'm not sure how it applies to streaming, but if the Brightcove video is a standard mp4 video (or similar), I've got a simple solution.
Here's what you need -
If you've got those three things taken care of, downloading and saving a Brightcove video is easy! Check out the _www.tjkelly.com/how-to-download-brightcove-video step-by-step tutorial on my website. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

Re: How to download HTTP/RTMP brightcove video streams on a MacThis is not a new way of downloading... It's been known for ages.
Only some brightcove videos use HTTP protocol, so Safari Activity Monitor won't work in many cases. Besides there is no need to uninstall flash player to use the Activity Monitor. Plus this method is too complicated. It is much easier to use Firefox plug-ins like Fast Video Download. As for RTMP streams, Jaksta for Mac can download them. |
