Record Live NFL Sunday Ticket (Record the live stream off the Direct TV website)

I have NFL sunday ticket to go, for you that dont know what that is, it is bought from direct tv in order to watch any and all the NFL games on sunday morning and afternoon on my computer though their website. the problem im having is that my team plays 14 out of 16 games at 10am, which is when i am at work. as i have no other way to record the games, id like to know if anyone knows a way i can record the live stream off the direct tv website, with sound, so i can watch it when i get home. thanks

The best thing to do is probably to record it at work. I don't really know what kind of streaming format DirecTV uses, but you can always record using screen video capture software. Please note that you need a powerful computer to record.

If they use Flash Player, most probably they broadcast RTMP or RTMPE streams, so you can try to record them with RTMP recorders and RTMPE recorders.

It is hard to schedule RTMP streams. But there are programs that can do it. WM Recorder is the most powerful RTMP stream scheduling program I have found so far.

The problem is that no programs I have tried can reconnect to RTMP or RTMPE streams. So it is probably better to use programs that allow to capture RTMP/RTMPE streams like Replay Media Catcher, freeware CooJah, Orbit Grab Pro, rtmpsuck. Screen video capture software is another good option for live streams.

p.s. I suggested to record at work since scheduling could be problematic. However if you have a remote access to your home PC, you can launch recording from your work.

iv tried a couple of those, and i can try the ones i havnt yet tried. i have also tried screen capturing programs although they seem to skip and have really bad quality when playing the video back. is there one i can get that has better quality. i dont mind buying programs either so just tell me whats best.

There are many good screen video capture programs. I recommend to use MPEG-2 or Windows Media codecs to get good quality. Of course screen recorders just capture from screen, so when there are streaming hiccups, they record them as well.

Personally I use Replay Video Capture (WM Capture). It gives good quality and my video and audio always stay in sync.
