the best RTMP recorder for live streams

I need to find a reliable RTMP stream recorder that can record live streams for hours. I repeat LIVE streams and record for HOURS. Every program I have tried so far, disconnects from the server. This can happen after 15, 30 or 120 minutes, but none of the RTMP stream recorders allowed me to reconnect successfully. Are there any good solutions for live streams?

Screen video capture software is the most reliable way to record live streams like video chats.

You can also try Jaksta in the RTMP recording mode.

Can it reconnect when connection is lost? What happens with the file if it can reconnect?
How does you program work: by downloading or capturing packets?

1. No, it doesn't automatically reconnect when the connection is lost (for now, anyways).
2. I don't know what would happen to the file since there's no re-connection ability.
3. It downloads the packets (the webpage can be changed without stopping the download of the video).

It seems like other programs can't reconnect too. Then I suppose that screen video capture software is the most reliable way to record live streams for hours.
