Question

BBC Live, Max-TV, Zattoo, RTMPE flash video and Windows Media streams in VLC ?

Hello there !

Recently i tried to watch some live streams from those 3 sites
and finally got myself watching all channels from them... with VPN
anyways that's not the point...

All i would like is to be able to play those Streams in my VLC player under a .m3u playlist file which is easy to make if you get the
right streams ....

Anyways so far in my search this is what i found but it s non playable,
any help is appreciated...

BBC 1 Live:

Code:
rtmpe://92.122.210.103:80/live?_fcs_vhost=cp80627.live.edgefcs.net&auth=dbEcecmdudcdLbHdqaSbsdrbfaCcKdpaZcO-blLsVc-c0-d0i_-FpnGAqyqMCqHtwG&aifp=v001&slist=bbc1_inlet_800@s13632bbc1_inlet_800@s13632?auth=dbEcecmdudcdLbHdqaSbsdrbfaCcKdpaZcO-blLsVc-c0-d0i_-FpnGAqyqMCqHtwG&aifp=v001
From :

Code:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcone/watchlive/

Zattoo:

Channel FRANCE2:

Code:
rtmpe://zattoo.fc.llnwd.net/zattoo/_definst_/s_France2?ip=MYIPADRESSLOL&e=1268077682&h=90f1660d8a484fb3fcd04deefbdde465
From
Code:
http://zattoo.com/
btw i've seen some site claiming that they had Zattoo channels into VLC, but they wouldn't tell more than that...
(it's in french, with a translator u might understand, and there is even a proof that he recorded it)
Code:
http://www.quakenet.ch/2008/10/22/zattoo-dans-vlc-c-est-possible/

And finally

Max-Tv

Code:
http://109.238.3.179:8080/arte?token=e01a05ef2a0deff32ccaca33eecc719a
That one plays in VLC only for a moment then suddenly goes into another .wmv file which is just crap ...

Code:
http://video.max-tv.be/default.wmv?error=401
From:

Code:
http://www.max-tv.be/fr/webplayer.html?channel=Arte

Any help thanks, im not looking to stream those over or even record, i just want to add them to my playlist... and play them with VLC.

Cheers !!!

You can't possible play RTMPE streams with VLC. Even RTMP support is far from ideal. And VLC will probably never support RTMPE streams... at least until Adobe allows such things.

As for Windows Media streams, you may try to find the URL of the stream and then try to change protocols between RTSP, MMS and HTTP

1. But i don't understand how come people do record from RTMPE & RTMP with rtmpdump and you can't stream it on any player or something ?

2. That's what i tried but apparently there is some token session on that max-tv site any help tryin' to get a link that actually keep on playin continually would be nice...

You can download a stream with rtmpdump (or any other RTMPE downloader) and then broadcast it.

You can also use screen broadcast software that captures a video from screen and broadcasts it.
