Why do you use Windows Media Center? Why do you use Windows Media Center?
Because it allows: To watch and record your favorite TV shows on your PC? To search for a TV show by title, keyword, category, actor or director? To view photos and videos, listen to your music library? To use online features? May be something else? |

Re: Why do you use Windows Media Center?Cause the new version in Windows 7 is perfect, the preview is great, I use it with a plugin (Media Browser) which get automatically the information for my series and episodes frome TheTVDB and display them with the description ... and I have a DVB-T tuner (with a great preview of programms), it allows me to switch from the TV to my Series easily.
I do not use it to record any show cause it records them in a format I don't like. To record I use DV Scheduler. I have the remote control, of course. |

Re: Why do you use Windows Media Center?Media Portal is a free alternative to Windows Media Center. It only started supporting Windows 7. It can record video to formats you will probably like.

Re: Why do you use Windows Media Center?I know Media Portal, I don't like it, too many bugs, doesn't work with most of the DVB-T tuners ...
