Для скачивания и одновременного прослушивания Windows Media потоков можно использовать WM Recorder или бесплатную WebVideoCap.

Для скачивания Icecast MP3 потоков (iTunes radio) можно использовать бесплатную StreamRipper и многие другие программы.

Формат Real Audio не рекомендую.

у меня WebVideoCap не видит стрима со старого радио.
rtmpdump и flazr сохраняют стрим в виде .flv

для Winamp, Real Player и Quick Time, они все оказались MP3 Icecast потоками. Windows Media оказалось Windows Media

А flv не нашел. Но тут и не суть важно. rtmpdump и flazr - это программы для записи RTMP .flv потоков. С HTTP наверное тоже должны справляться
