Error in Freeme2: Unknown packet id. How to solve the problem?

I was using freeme2 to try and remove encryption from a file when I received the error shown in the image on the link below

http://www.flickr.com/photos/34827195@N03/3328227883/
Code:
Unknown packet ID - don't know what to do! #########: 100%
Press <ENTER> to acknowledge error
Can anyone tell me what went wrong and how to fix the problem?

Thanks

Have you tried to use FairUse4WM instead?

Question

Re: Error in Freeme2: Unknown packet id. How to solve the problem?

Can't seem to get fairuse4wm to find keys. Seems like a bit of a lost cause fairuse4wm.

Got drmdbg working though and can extract keys. Just keep getting error code once it gets to 100% completion. The vid plays without drm on it but all I can do is play and pause, no fast forward or rewind.

Please see the following FAQ:
How to remove DRM from Windows Media Player files with FairUse4WM 1.3 fix-1 DRM-Remover 2009-01-10 Fix for Windows XP (by milOtis)

If you have Windows XP and your content providers don't force you to update your IBX, it should work fine.

I can't downgrade windows media player and the version I have is 11.0.6000.7000 which doesn't work with the version of fairuse4wm you suggested. This is why I use drmdbg and freeme2 as drmdbg works with that version and freeme2 doesn't seem to work on my computer at all.

You need to use "AsfBin" or "Windows Media Stream Editor" to make the vid seekable.
