AV 760 DVR and VGA adaptor: Need help in setupI have a new AV 760 DVR and purchased the VGA adaptor. After setting up, video is jumpy and almost appears to roll. I can't even get to the setup screens because the video is so jumpy. What is wrong?

Re: AV 760 DVR and VGA adaptor: Need help in setupI solved the problem by changing my MONITOR settings.
There is a refresh rate set on the monitor, and I had to change this refresh rate to suit the output of the adaptor. Since then - perfection! The refresh rate was in the documentation supplied. You also get the best results if you can set the monitor to match the 'native' output from the adaptor. |
