Audio problem with AVTech: AVtech software makes system sound quieterHi there, I'm hoping someone can help me with a problem I'm having with my software. When I bring up the AVtech software, my music (that is being streamed from shoutcast.com) suddenly just goes much quieter and sounds garbled (as in, hardly distinguishable as music at all).
Here are some of the things I have noted: - I am running a Avtech DVR 4 Channel system - The computer that I am using to load the software is on the same network as the DVR - The computer's sound source is Realtek onboard sound with up to date drivers - The issue only occurs as soon as I start the anytime-anywhere software, and stops the moment I shut the application down - The issue happens regrdless of whether the sound is from an online stream or from a local CD playing - I have used both Winamp and Media Player to see of there is any difference but there is not It would seem as if it's just some sort of setting that I'm missing and yet I can't seem to figure it out. If anyone could offer any help or ideas, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance |

Re: Audio problem with AVTech: AVtech software makes system sound quieterI am trying to figure out your problem.
If you are streaming video from your DVR over the internet then perhaps you have bandwith issues while streaming music as well. What kind of internet do you have? Light, reg, SUPERSIZE? __________________________________________________ _ If it is from a local CD then I would suspect the processing power of the computer itself. |
