Re: CamstasiaYou can read more about camtasia here: http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.asp
I'd recomend you take their Product Tour to learn more about it. Personally, i'd go with one of our reviewed products here...and they're priced better too: Screen Capture Software |

Re: CamstasiaMany screen video capture programs can record audio from your sound card. Even freeware CamStudio can do that.

Re: General questions on CamstasiaI got an official response from gigabyte
my mother board they said my model can't record off applications & advise getting a different sound card. Some one also suggested routing a line from in to out or something on the board? |

Re: General questions on CamstasiaIf you need to record from your sound card, you should try freeware Freecorder Toolbar. It works with ANY sound card, even those that don't support recording (like RealTek and SigmaTel).
If you want to record video with audio, you can use Replay Video Capture or WM Capture. Both programs use Applian Audio Driver, so you can record sound on your PC even if your sound card doesn't have the "Stereo Mix" / "Record What you hear" / "Waveout mix" option. |
