Smithsonian Channel

I have a dream...

That I will watch this channel for free as I watch few other US channels.

I make this post in hope or dream if you like that bollock who runs:

http://myustv.com/watch/smithsonian-channel/

will read this post and fix his own site so that I can watch Smitsonian Channel.

As of now, myustv is the only site on this planet that I found that tries to stream or re-stream Smithsonian Channel.

Google, Yandex, Index, who knows who I can't find this broadcast on the internet without paid subscription.

I start this thread on this forum which will stay for as long as this forum lives,

so help me god.

Re: Smithsonian Channel

Most of their programs can be seen on their own website.
I am puzzled with one thing: Why it is for US citizens only?
I wanted to be an US citizen ages ago and was deported.
Therefore, I have no choice but to use an VPN and see America on the Internet only.

I can highly recommend Proton VPN.
They have free and paid option.
Free option is working well. It is unlimited, fast, and it is for 3 countries - US, Japan, and The Netherlands.
If it wasn't for Smithsonian Channel, I wouldn't had tried an VPN ever.

Customer Care (Smithsonian Channel)

Hi ,

Per studio agreements, programming on Smithsonian Channel Plus is restricted to U.S. distribution, and may be distributed internationally under separate agreement. We appreciate your interest. It is important to note that we do not support the use of a VPN when attempting to access our services. We hope this information helps you moving forward.

Sincerely,
Smithsonian Channel Customer Care

Nearly there, like Mexican from Tijuana ..

If you run Euro VPN and follow this link:

I'll never be paying UK TV licence fees because I don't have TV set, so I limit myself here for the reason of my own.
I can log in to somewhere else and watch in some other way and I am sick and tired of it because I am forced to it since principles of life haven't changed since the day of down.

It is shocking to see how few views or viewers this topic, Smithsonian Channel, brings to this forum.
If It was about how to watch Indiana Jones in a dodgy way number of viewers would go in 6 digit numbers and attract attention of all worlds censorship and law enforcement.

I never heard of my5.tv and for a start I notice that it takes time to open with US VPN and opens quickly with euro IP.
I'll look later at that and any new information about main topic of this thread, Smithsonian Channel, brings quality of this thread and this forum to higher level.

Your post highlights imperfection and inadequacy of search engines and value of this forum and this thread as search engines return by statistics less than 1% of what you could find on the internet.
Try to search for something on Google for something you find on this forum and I don't find much and somehow this forum itself doesn't show up.

Re: Smithsonian Channel

What's bad about my5 is that the selections are few and also the top quality is 468p.

On the other hand, therokuchannel (dot com) has 1080p for smithsonian and all the same content.

Re: Smithsonian Channel

Thanks yelloworanges.

on my5.tv I found VODs only.

That Roku looks good looking at it from US VPN.
Without VPN I get redirected to here:

https://therokuchannel.roku.com/enguard/en-gb

When I search for content, Smithsonian, I get no result.
They talk about their player or devices I wouldn't be interested to buy.
What they don't say in FAQ is: "Can I watch what I want to watch on my PC without Roku junk devices?"
I got lost on Roku website with too much told and explained nothing and result is I found nothing.

Your link is perfect match to what I would like to see in search engine and I hadn't seen it.
Subscription $5 for Smithsonian Channel Plus, Roku, but looks like only for US folk.
When you run US VPN here you find you can't see number of Euro sites I normaly see.
Euronews doesn't ask for money but if you run US VPN you can't see it money or no money.

That myustv.com looks to me like some university student's work for his final exam which
he made once and left. I had my eyes swollen looking on Yandex to find something like that
and next step will be to learn professional Google search techniques and keep on looking ...

Updates will follow.

Cheers.

Thanks.

Check PBS. It is even better than Smithsonian. More variety.
