if you have configured rtmpdumphelper to use rtmpsrv instead of rtmpsuck, any stream that it is dumping won't be forwarded to the flash player in your browser. so you won't see anything, in the browser, even though the stream is being saved. is it possible you have setup rtmpdumphelper to use rtmpsvr?

i too have been experiencing problems using rtmpdumphelper with chrome (and firefox) for the last couple of weeks, but not as you describe.

just check your rtmpsuck / rtmpsrv files whether one of them is also running (if not then you get the message as on your picture). In some cases they can also close if you call any stream site and then you get such error messages about failed to load stream xy in your browser.

i suspect that this thread may have been started as some kind of traffic generating scam for the site mentioned, as the poster is using the same domain to upload their screen caps. busted. ignore.
