PLEASE help download Silverlight DRM video in Blackboard

I am taking a uni course online that uses a special embedded format for streaming video. The company that releases the video is called "Swank Digital Campus" and they use Silverlight DRM to protect from downloading. I have tried Video Download Helper in Firefox, Orbit Downloader, and viewing the page source to find a link, but to no avail.

I have very slow internet at home and cannot watch streaming videos -- even the worst quality YouTube clips take a while to buffer for me. I have searched online for "download from Swank digital campus" and "download DRM Silverlight videos" and other search terms, but nothing comes up.

Is there any way to download from this service? Should I use a screen recorder, or what would be the best way to get the video for later viewing offline? I am not going to submit the video to pirate sites; I just want to download them to my own hard drive so that I can watch them in VLC and not have to buffer the stream. The video is only viewable in the private campus Blackboard space, so there is no URL that I can provide like nbc.com, mlb.com, etc. PLEASE HELP ASAP so that I can complete this needed course!
