ReplayMusic/Rhapsody ver.3.1Rhapsody ver. 3.0 has known issues with ReplayMusic specifically not being able to recognize and tag songs. So I recently downloaded Rhapsody ver. 3.1 their latest release hoping for a improvement. This version has the same issues. RepalyMusic does not identify with Gracenote the songs. I have contacted RepalyMusic support. They replied and wanted more infromation to try to reproduce the problem. Have my fingers crossed that they may have some useful suggestions or at least admit there is a problem.
Anyone having success with the latest releases of Rhapsody and ReplayMusic. I would like to get the 25 plays a month and use the equalizer in the newer release if Rhapsody software. |

I don't use Rhapsody, but I've asked Replay Music support stuff to answer to your post. Believe me, I know them for more than 2 years and I suppose their support team is one of the best, especially compared to other stream recorder developers' support. And IMHO this is one of the reasons to choose software from Applian Technologies.

Update responseOkay, Support is responding promptly to my questions, but I am starting to get the feelling of canned responses. Here is the latest response to my question of why is the latest versions of Rhapsody 3.0 or 3.1 not recognizing tracks while the older versions like 2.1 do still work with ReplayMusic. Note the whole purpose of purchasing ReplayMusic is to automatically split tracks and auto tag your downloaded tracks from internet radio. Specifically works well with Rhapsody,Napster,Yahooo etc. subscriber based music services because their is pauses of silence between tracks.
Hi Jim, You are having this problem becasue you are recording from radio stations. Replay Music cannot split and tag well from radio becuase most radio stations do not broadcast silence between tracks. Please note that there needs to be discernible silence between the songs for the splitting technology to work properly, and therefore for the tagging to be accomplished. Internet radio stations that fade or have no silence will not split the tracks properly. We have included a manual Split Track button for this type of stream, but again that could not be used for unattended recording which RM works so well for. If you would like to use Replay Music with Rhapsody, do not use radio. Use Rhapsody's streaming MP3's. Regards, Debbie McCormick Technology & Design Specialist Applian Technologies, Inc. |

The latest version of Replay Music (2.41) and Rhapsody 3.1 work great together in our tests.

Could you share your settings from your tests?Bill thanks for your response. Maybe you could share your settings and hardware configurations that work well with your test. I am having trouble on three different computers using your ver. 2.41 with ver . 3.0 and or 3.1 of Rhapsody.
But if I revert back to Rhapsody ver. 2.1 all works well. Looking for some help here |
