Default Browser for GetFLV?Hello,
I've been using GetFLV for years and am, on average, happy with it. Mostly I time shift Hulu+ so I can watch it on my tablet when not connected to the Internet. For some Hulu+ content, I need to be able to log into my Internet provider (Verizon). But, when I try to log in, GFLV open up an IE window, which doesn't at all communicate with the Chrome window I use for downloading Hulu+. How can I get Chome to launch when during the authentication process? Thanks. |

Re: Default Browser for GetFLV?OK. I managed to get it working. I'm going to list the steps below in case it helps anyone. I have not reproduced this so it might not work a second time. Also, it's likely that some of the steps are unnecessary. I'm including them here for the sake of completeness.
1. Close GetFLV. 2. Use Chrome to authenticate with my Cable Provider (inside Hulu+). 3. Reboot PC. 4. Launch GetFLV. 5. Go to Hulu. 6. Swap to IE. 7. Looked at Chrome settings (in an external Chrome browser). But, I didn't change anything. 8. Switched GetFLV to Chrome (Hulu was still selected in the viewing screen). 9. Logged into Hulu+. 10. Attempted to view something that was "provider protected". Aaaannnnd. Things started working. There must be an easier way. If anyone has a suggestion please pass it along. |
