But yours gives me an error! No idea why! It must be something silly I'm doing and/or missing...

For rtmpdumphelper it is necessary to add 11000 port

Forgive my ignorance, but no one has posted a clear solution to this? http://play.fpt.vn/internetTV/vtv3

All I've been using to record streams so far is this: https://github.com/K-S-V/Scripts/releases rtmpdump-2.4.zip (rtmpdump command)

Some posts above have mentioned editing rtmpdumpheler, which I don't even have or see in KSV's rtmpdump folder (see above link). Others are posting images of file names: such as -o "2013-10-24_04-17-52_vtv3HD_1000.stream". I thought arguments to -o can be anything!!! I'm confused!!!!

Can someone please state what the correct command is?

rtmpdump -r "rtmp://scache.fptplay.net.vn/live" -a "live" -W "http://play.fpt.vn/static/mediaplayer/flowplayer.swf" -p "http://play.fpt.vn/internetTV/vtv3" -y "vtv3HD_1000.stream" live -v -o "vtv3.flv"

is correct and only needs a -t xxxx, please state so....If some edits are necessary to some files, please state what edits are needed, to what file(s), and where is/are that/those file(s)? Note that I'm using KSV's latest rtmpdump-2.4.zip file 10/18/2013!!!
