Adjusting RTMP stream qualityHi everyone. Firstly thanks for all the brilliant advice that's on this forum already - I've managed to get RTMPdump up and running on my windows pc now.
I'm looking to dump the stream from ESPN. I was able to get past the authentication issues mentioned in this thread so can fully capture the stream now. The problem that I have is that the ESPN player defaults to 400kbps when the stream loads and this has to be changed manually by the viewer after the stream has started. Is anyone able to think of a way to capture the stream at higher quality? An example RTMPdump link i'm using is: rtmpdump -r "rtmp://cp88998.edgefcs.net:1935/ondemand?auth=da.c2brbFc8b5cncDcnb3aEdOdAbkaBdLb0-brs75.-O-6yAoxLDDx-masgm3pkjgjhp8jarnq6mrn3qakfkqqam4s7nqoakqj5qqjarr q6l4n7rpkfjdqenrs8m9oakojhpej2qaq6lfn4qfk9j4qamds5 m7od&aifp=v0001&slist=88998/espn&ct5=21-Mar-13&ct6=208.92.36.18&ct7=25773841:FMS_CLOUD&ct8=39& ct1=espn_us&ct3=A8925A0F-48F3-0F5D-F5E0-1E877F135B98&ct4=espn_us&ct9=193767fda8e04241a9be4 aa2f17fd7cf" -a "ondemand?auth=da.c2brbFc8b5cncDcnb3aEdOdAbkaB dLb0-brs75.-O-6yAoxLDDx-masgm3pkjgjhp8jarnq6mrn3qakfkqqam4s7nqoakqj5qqjarr q6l4n7rpkfjdqenrs8m9oakojhpej2qaq6lfn4qfk9j4qamds5 m7od&aifp=v0001&slist=88998/espn&ct5=21-Mar-13&ct6=208.92.36.18&ct7=25773841:FMS_CLOUD&ct8=39& ct1=espn_us&ct3=A8925A0F-48F3-0F5D-F5E0-1E877F135B98&ct4=espn_us&ct9=193767fda8e04241a9be4 aa2f17fd7cf" -f "WIN 10,2,159,1" -W "http://neulionms.vo.llnwd.net/v1/espn/player/espnplayer/static/flex/console.swf" -p "http://www.espnplayer.com/espnplayer/ncaa/lc/dartmouth-vs-8-north-carolina-130318/48117" -y "mp4:88998/espn/2013/03/18/176-111210/web-encodes/832925_espn_400k/832925_espn_400k.mp4" -o 832925_espn_400k.flv Is it too naive to think that if I changed the green text from 400k to 2200k it would rip the higher quality stream? I have tried it but the problem is that the auth keys only last a couple of seconds so always expire by the time I've edited the rtmp link. |
