jumps back in the footageHello people,
this is the page: http://www.radioradicale.it/scheda/3...deuropa-subito this is the embedded stream: rtmp://video-3.radioradicale.it:1935/store-51/mp4:roma/2010/01//FL610753.f4v if you try to save it with rtmpdump at the 20th second there will be a jump back of a few seconds (maybe 2) Then, there will be several more, going forward. I reproduced this on a Ubuntu machine and a Fedora one (I guess the settings for the packaging of rtmpdump are different) Is this a bug or am I missing anything ? Thanks |

Re: jumps back in the footageadd -v switch to your command line. it may slow down the download speed but will fix this particular behavior.

Re: jumps back in the footageKSV,
thank you VERY much. Since that's not a "live" event, I didn' t think of that setting. I'd love to understand which footages are to be intended as "live" and which are not, in the rtmpdump parlance. Thanks again, anyway Bye |

Re: jumps back in the footageThis switch also disables RTMP_LF_BUFX hack used by rtmpdump to speedup downloads in some cases but some buggy servers don't play well with this behavior and send the file from different position instead of the unpause time requested by rtmpdump.
