Re: Windows Media streaming download from tf1.frIt is a Windows Media stream. I had no any problem finding the stream URL and recording it automatically with my favorite WM Recorder (in AUTO recording mode you don't even have to hit the Record button to download the stream).
URL Snooper has found the following URLs: Code:
mms://streamtf1.yacast.net/tf1jt/jt20d22052007.asf rtsp://streamtf1.yacast.net/tf1jt/jt20d22052007.asf rtsp://streamtf1.yacast.net/tf1jt/jt20d22052007.asf/audio/fec98 24 1 rtsp://streamtf1.yacast.net/tf1jt/jt20d22052007.asf/video/fec98 24 1 |

Re: Windows Media streaming download from tf1.frWell, but all these url just allow you to dowload the all evening news, with the part i what included of course. That is what i had done already.
Did you try to download or record ONLY the part which is played when you click on the url i gave? The url's found by url snooper are related to the WHOLE envening news of TF1, am i mistaken? |

Re: Windows Media streaming download from tf1.frStart and end times of the stream can be received from the .ASX metafile. You may use them in NetXFer as described in our FAQ:
How to record streaming media file in parts: Start and end times of a streaming media However it is much easier to record such streams with WM Recorder in AUTO recording mode (PRO or ADA). You just start WM Recorder in the AUTO recording mode and it records every Windows Media stream your Windows Media Player plays. You don't have to worry about stream URLs, start and end times of the stream, stream authentication,... |

Re: Windows Media streaming download from tf1.frNice, that's vey good! 2 ways already to do that.
I am wondering about a third way. I tried to do it with mplayer. I can donwload the stream in command line with mplayer, but of course only the entire stream, not only the part i want to. If i open the very same .asx file with windows media player (instead of mplayer so) it is all right, only the wanted part is played, or registered. So windows media player is recognizing the start and end time in the .asx file. Is there a way to do the same with mplayer? I had a look at the documentation, there are some "edl" file parameters. I could'nt manage to use them properly it seems. But i am even not sure if that could succed to solve the problem in fact. |

Re: Windows Media streaming download from tf1.frUnfortunately I don't really know how to record some part of a Windows Media stream with MPlayer, VLC player or any media stream recorder besides WM Recorder and NetTransport.
